Sumas Environmental Services Inc. (Sumas) have the experience available to diagnose dewatering challenges and the "know how" to recommend and safely use the proper equipment and techniques needed to dewater any water or wastewater sludge and discharge it "safely" into the environment. Sumas is strongly field oriented, very sensitive to the special needs of the general consultants particularly with regard to the timeliness of bids as well as job rescheduling. Our technical, sales, and field personnel are dedicated to one principle philosophy - to serve our customer by providing the most effective techniques to control groundwater on time and on budget.

Consultants frequently inquire about our specialty pumps they may see on job sites. These pumps are for sale or rent and literature is available on request. Sumas has many different dewatering pumps such as:
 

Submersible Pumps, used for moving large volumes of water typically in borrow pits, coffer dams, flood control, etc.

Axial-Flow Propeller Pumps for high volumes and low lifts are built for portable hydraulic drive packages as well as for permanent installations.

Sumas has a variety of drill rigs to accomplish any job the customer needs. Our mobilization capabilities allow us to move rigs and highly-trained crews to the job site quickly. Sumas Dewatering can provide Bucket Drilling, Auger drilling or Wet Rotary drilling. These rigs are either 2 wheel drive or rough terrain vehicles, depending on the site needs and conditions. Sumas also has an extensive inventory of trailer mounted rigs and drilling support equipment.


"Turn-Key Contract" puts Sumas in charge of the layout, installation and operation of construction dewatering systems. Sumas will undertake engineering studies including on-site pump tests and furnish design recommendations. This total concept includes a guarantee to provide the needed results.

"Rental or Sale" in which Sumas furnishes the necessary equipment to the customers from Sumas' extensive inventory. Sumas will furnish a field supervisor to advise the client regarding proper installation and operation of the Sumas supplied equipment.

There is a huge difference between renting or buying from Sumas and obtaining equipment from a "hardware" type company which only warehouse equipment. Sumas field supervisors and maintenance specialists are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to assist in solving operational problems.
